4 to 5 years ago when I attended college for graphic design, the aspects of building a website whether in flash or html always proved to be a daunting task. My skills as a designer were most prominent in terms of developing strategies and visually stimulating concepts as opposed to technical aspects such as coding and programming. Unfortunately I never paid much attention to the powers and capabilities of wordpress beyond it’s usage as a traditional blogging platform.
The title of this blog post takes from the marketing concept of being ‘first to the market’. At the time of writing this I may very well be the only photographer who does not have a professional web presence. Now I do. I’ve taken that step in confidence knowing the images I create whether personal, fine art, portraiture or commercial deserve to have a proper stage to display proudly.
